As a chef and edible educator, I have always been fascinated in the transformative power of food. How do loving hands transform vibrant ingredients into dishes filled with nuance, wit and creativity? Drawn by sensuous aromas, suddenly a crowd appears to enjoy a meal together.  

I have farmed and cooked my way across Europe, Asia and Central America. You’ll love my international menus featuring the people, plants, and culinary techniques from my journeys across the globe. 

My passion is teaching young people where food comes from and what to do with it once harvested. By day I run the culinary program at St. Helens High School and every day is an adventure! By night I teach cooking classes at Sur La Table and NW 20th Place Fred Meyer. 

I believe in the power of food as medicine. In 2017 I earned my Masters in holistic nutrition from NUNM. My degree offered me a deep understanding of how whole foods influence our pathophysiology, epigenetics, and overall wellness. 

Life moves fast. In a technology-dominated world, I create moments for you to stop and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. I would love to share my passion and enthusiasm with you and yours.
